Ali Serol Ertürk, born in Malatya, Turkey in 1983, completed his Bachelor’s degree in 2007 at Boğaziçi University. Then he returned his hometown, Isparta in Turkey and received his M.Sc degree at Suleyman Demirel University in 2009. During these years, he was appointed as Research Assistant at the Adıyaman University and continued his position at Yıldız Technical University during his doctorate research in 2010-2014 in Istanbul. He was promoted to Assistant Professor at Adıyaman University in 2014. Since 2009, he is married and has one daughter. At the present, still a member of Adıyaman University and continuing his academic research in Department of Basic Pharmaceutical Sciences of Faculty of Pharmacy.
His main research lies in the field of polymers, dendrimers, microwave chemistry, in particular, the microwave assisted synthesis of dendrimers, chemometrics, experimental design and multivariate calibration methods. Particular emphasis is put on developing a concept for microwave assisted synthesis planning of water-soluble poly(amidoamine) PAMAM dendrimers and material chemistry, which is based on chemometric tools for characterizing drug-delivery applications of dendrimers.
