Dr. Tansu Alan graduated from the Department of Elementary Mathematics Education at the Faculty of Education, Adıyaman University, in 2018. In the same year, he began his master’s studies in the field of Educational Measurement and Evaluation at the Faculty of Education, Hasan Kalyoncu University, and completed his degree in 2021. In 2021, Dr. Alan was admitted to the PhD program in Educational Measurement and Evaluation at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Ankara University, and completed his doctoral studies in January 2026 with a GPA of 4.00. As part of his doctoral research, he conducted academic studies at the University of León, Spain, during the summer of 2024. Dr. Alan is currently working as a Doctor Lecturer (Lecturer, PhD) at Adıyaman University. His research interests include computerized adaptive testing (CAT), alternative measurement and assessment, Item Response Theory (IRT), and high-stakes standardized tests.
