Born in 1985 in Ankara, Başak Danacı Polat completed her primary and secondary education here. In 2009, She graduated from Gazi University, Gazi Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts Education, Department of Painting Education. In 2012, she completed her master's degree at Gazi University, Institute of Educational Sciences, Department of Fine Arts Education. She completed her PhD in 2019 in the same department. She worked as a research assistant at Adiyaman University Faculty of Education Department of Fine Arts Education between the years of 2013-2014 and Gazi University, Gazi Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts Education, Department of Painting Education between the years of 2014-2019. Since 2020, she has been working as a research assistant doctor in the Department of Painting, the Faculty of Fine Arts, Adiyaman University. She participated in many national and international group exhibitions. She is a member of Visual Arts Education Association (GÖRSED).
