He was born in the Genç district of Bingöl. He completed primary and secondary education in Genç in 2001. He graduated from Binğöl high School in 2004. He graduated from İstanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 2010. He completed his Ph.D. at Dicle University, Faculty of Dentistry,  Department of  Periodontology in 2017. He became an assistant professor at Adıyaman University, Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Periodontology in 2017 and is still working at the same University. He worked as an executive and researcher in 5 scientific research projects. He has 46 articles published in international and national journals and 27 oral and poster presentations at global and national congresses. 14 of the articles are covered by ESCI and SCI. 55 citations were made to his articles only in Web of Science. Turkish Periodontology Association (TPD), the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP), and the Dentistry Education Programs Accreditation Association (DEPAD) are members.   Vice Dean to Adıyaman University Faculty of Dentistry on 01 August 2018, and he continued his position as vice dean successfully for 8 years. He also served on various administrative and education commissions.  He is married and has four children.
