He was born in Kepçeli Village of the Genç district of Bingöl. He completed primary and secondary education in Genç in 2001. He graduated from Binğöl high School in 2004. He graduated from İstanbul University, Faculty of Dentistry in 2010. He completed his Ph.D. at Dicle University, Faculty of Dentistry,  Department of  Periodontology 2017. He became an assistant professor at Adıyaman University, Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Periodontology in 2017 and is still working at the same University. He worked as an executive and researcher on scientific research projects. He has 45 articles published in international and national journals and 27 oral and poster presentations at global and national congresses. 14 of the articles are covered by ESCI and SCI. 31 citations were made to his articles only in Web of Science. Turkish Periodontology Association (TPD), the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP), and the Dentistry Education Programs Accreditation Association (DEPAD) a members.   Vice Dean to Adıyaman University Faculty of Dentistry on 01 August 2018 and continues in the same position. He is married and has two children.
