She was born in Sivas. In 2011, she completed his undergraduate education at Cumhuriyet University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting with the first place in the Faculty and Department. In 2010, she studied at Anadolu University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting with Farabi Student Exchange Program. In 2011, she was appointed as a Research Assistant at Adıyaman University Faculty of Fine Arts. In 2019, she completed his master's degree at Hacettepe University Institute of Fine Arts Painting Department. In 2021, she started his Proficiency in Art Program at Düzce University Postgraduate Institute Painting Department. In addition to 3 solo exhibitions, she took part in many scientific and artistic events such as national and international exhibitions, workshops, symposiums. She was assigned to the organizing boards of national and international art workshops and projects and undertook the general coordinator and curator of the 2nd International Perre Art Workshop. She continues her artistic and academic studies as a lecturer at Adıyaman University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting. In her works, Kuruçay deals with the cause and effect relationship of humanity's irreversible transformation of the earth with an ecocritical attitude. She is interested in the concepts of nature and degradation in the context of anthropocene and ecology.
