She graduated from Hacettepe University Turkish Language and Literature Department in 2008  and from Gazi University Social Sciences Institute Turkish Folklore program in 2011. Her master's thesis is titled “The functions of crosswords within the context of culture, education and economy of culture”. In March 2011, she was appointed as a research assistant to the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Ondokuz Mayıs University. She completed her doctorate education in December 2017.  Her thesis is titled “Motifs of marvels in Anatolian Turkish tales and applied folklore”. She has been working in Adıyaman University, Department of Turkish Language and Literature since Semptember 2018.
