She was born in İzmir in 1980. She completed his primary, secondary and high school education in İzmir and  university education at Erzurum Atatürk University Faculty of Letters and Sciences Department of Art History. She started her graduate education at Atatürk University, Department of Art History. She started working as a research assistant in Adıyaman University Art History Department in 2008. In 2009, she was assigned to Hacettepe University, Department of Art History as a Faculty Member Training Program. In September 2018, she completed her doctoral thesis titled Byzantine Rock-Cut Architecture of Peristremma Valley, Cappadocia. She is working as a assistant professor at Department of Art History.
