He completed his undergraduate education in Fırat University, Faculty of Education, Department of Social Studies Teaching, his master's degree at Niğde University, Social Sciences Institute, Department of Social Studies Education, and his doctorate education at Fırat University, Institute of Educational Sciences, Department of Social Studies Teaching.
He worked as a research assistant in Kilis 7 Aralık University, Muallim Rıfat Faculty of Education, Department of Social Studies Education between 2010-2011 and as a research assistant in Adıyaman University, Faculty of Education, Department of Social Studies Education between 2011-2014. In 2014, he was appointed as an assistant professor to Adıyaman University, Faculty of Education, Department of Social Studies Education, and in 2019, he received the title of Associate Professor. He is still working as a lecturer in the same program. He has scientific studies on Citizenship and Democracy Education, Social Studies Education.
