He was born in 1965 in Erzincan. After completing the primary school in Mertekli Village, he won the State Free Boarding Exam in 1978. He studied in Secondary School Aydın-Nazilli Sümer Secondary School, High School in Isparta-Yalvaç Atatürk High School. He graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Science, Department of Mathematics in 1988. In 1992, he graduated from Cumhuriyet University Institute of Science MSc under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Kazim KAYA.  In 1997, he graduated from Ege University, Institute of Science PhD under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mehmet SAPANCI. Between 1988-1997, he worked as a research assistant at Cumhuriyet University and between 1997-2009, he worked as Assistant Professor in Cumhuriyet University, Faculty of Arts and Science, Department of Mathematics.  From 2009 to 2021, he worked as Assistant Professor in Adıyaman University, Faculty of Arts and Science, Department of Mathematics. Since 2021, he have worked as Associate Professor in Adıyaman University, Faculty of Arts and Science, Department of Mathematics.  He is married and has three children.
