He graduated from Çukurova University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Field Crops in 1996. He completed his master's degree in 2000, his doctorate in 2006, at Çukurova University Institute of Science. He has been working at Adıyaman University Kahta Vocational School and Faculty of Agriculture since 2007.
