Özge Özgün was born in Eskişehir, Turkey. She got her bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature Department at Atatürk University in 2007. In 2013, she received her master degree at the same university in English Culture and Literature department. The title of her master thesis is "Minimalist Elements in Toby Litt's King Death". In July 2020, she completed her Phd. Dissertation at English Language and Literature Department at Atatürk University. The title of her thesis is "An Ecocritical Approach to Margaret Eleanor Atwood's Oryx and Crake, The Year of the Flood and MaddAddam Novels". She has been working as an English instructor at Adıyaman University since 2008.
