He was born in 1968 in Çermik district of Diyarbakır. He completed his primary and secondary education in Çermik and high school education in Diyarbakır. He completed his undergraduate education at Fırat University Mechanical engineering department in 1993. He completed his master's degree in 1996 at the Dumlupınar University and his doctorate education in 2004 at the Yıldız Technical University in the Mechanical engineering department at the Institute of Science. He worked as research assistant between 1993-2003 and 2004-2005 years at the Harran University and between 2003-2004 at the Yıldız Technical University in the Mechanical engineering department. Later, he worked for Harran University as assistant professor between 2005-2011 and as associate professor between 2011-2017. He appointed as professor in 2017 at the engineering faculty of Adıyaman University in Mechanical engineering department and he still works in the same department. He is married and has four children.
