He was born in 1980 in Samsun. He went to primary school in Samsun. He graduated from Samsun Anatolian High School in 1998. In 1999, he was enrolled the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Inonu University Adiyaman Faculty of Arts and Sciences. He graduated from this department in 2003. In the same year, he enrolled in Celal Bayar University, Institute of Social Sciences, Turkish Language and Literature MA (Non-Thesis) Program. He continued to work in private education institutions in Bursa until 2009. In 2009, he started to work as a Turkish Language and Literature teacher in the Besni district of Adıyaman, within the Ministry of Education. In 2010, he enrolled in the MA Program of Adıyaman University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Turkish Language and Literature. He completed his master's degree in 2012. In the same year, he started to study the Ph.D. Program of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at the Institute of Social Sciences of Adıyaman University. He started to work at Adıyaman University as a lecturer in 2014. He graduated from the Ph.D. program in 2018. He is currently a lecturer in Adıyaman University, Faculty of Education, Department of Turkish Language Teaching.
