Yavuz DEMİRCİ was born in 1976 in Amasya-Merzifon. He graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Engineering Faculty Environmental Engineering Department in 1998. He worked as an operating engineer in Ankara-Yenikent Wastewater Treatment Plant between 1998-2001. While working at the facility in question, he started his master's degree in 1999 at Fırat University, Institute of Science, Environmental Engineering Department, Environmental Sciences Department. He was appointed as a research assistant in the same branch of science on 28.12.2001. He completed his master's degree in 2002. He started his doctorate in the same branch of science on 17.01.2002. Since I was in the 50 / d staff, I was appointed to the Southeastern Anatolia Forestry Research Directorate after the doctorate on 17.05.2007. In 2008, he completed his doctoral dissertation on "The Design and Performance of Upflow Anaerobic Hybrid Reactors". 27.12. In 2010, he was appointed as Assistant Professor to Adıyaman University, Kâhta Vocational School, Crop and Animal Production Program, Department of Organic Agriculture.

In 2012, he was appointed as a faculty member to Adıyaman University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Environmental Engineering. Between 2012 and 2014, he served as the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. He received the title of Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering in 2018. Currently working in the Department of Environmental Engineering, Assoc. Dr. Yavuz DEMİRCİ speaks English, is married and has two children.
