He was born in Adıyaman in 1972. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Adıyaman. He completed his undergraduate (Harran University) education in 1995, his master's degree (Harran University) in 1997 and his doctorate (Çukurova University) in 2012. He worked in the private sector for 1 year in 1992. He started to work in the Ministry of National Education in 1997. Between 2000-2007, he worked as an Honorary Instructor at Harran University, the Directorate of Kahta Vocational School. In 2007, he was appointed as the Secretary of the Adiyaman University Kahta Vocational School. In addition to this duty, he served as the Founding Revolving Fund Management Manager of the Rectorate between 2009-2012. In 2013, Adıyaman University Kahta Vocational School Plant and Animal Production Department Asst. Assoc. Dr. has been assigned to the task. In 2014, he worked at Adıyaman University Kahta Vocational School for a short time and afterwards as the Deputy Director of the Agricultural Research and Application Center. In 2019, he started to work in Adıyaman University Faculty of Agricultural, Department of Agricultural Engineering (13b-4). In 2020, he received the title of Associate Professor in Soil Science and Plant Nutrition. He worked as an executive and assistant researcher in approximately 15 projects supported by the European Union, World Bank, GAP Administration, Çukurova, Adıyaman Universities and Non-Governmental Organizations.
He worked in 2 second thesis advisors and 22 master thesis juries. Assoc.Dr. Ahmet Çelik is the Adıyaman Provincial Representative of TEMA Foundation and a member of the Turkish Soil Science Association.
Assoc. Dr. Ahmet Çelik has been working as an assistant editor, columnist, and chapter writer in various newspapers and scientific journals since 1994. He prepared research and informational supplements and supplements published alongside the newspaper.

He has many national and international articles and notices on soil mineralogy, soil quality, soil organic carbon. He is married with three children.
