Born in Adana in 1984, Prof. Dr. Ali Osman Ayaş completed his primary and secondary education in Adana. He earned his bachelor’s degree in 2007 from the Department of Physics Education, Division of Secondary Education in Science and Mathematics, at the Meram Faculty of Education, Selçuk University. He received his master's and doctoral degrees from the Department of Physics at the Institute of Natural Sciences, Çukurova University. In 2010, he began working as a research assistant in the Department of Physics at the Faculty of Science and Letters, Adıyaman University. In 2015, he continued his work as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at the Faculty of Technology, Adıyaman University. Ali Osman Ayaş, who was promoted to Associate Professor in 2019 and to Professor in 2025, has been continuing his academic work in the Department of Physics at the Faculty of Science and Letters, Adıyaman University, since 2020. A specialist in magnetic nanoparticles, Ayaş has published a total of 27 scientific articles: 22 in high-impact journals indexed in the SCI-Expanded database (including 16 in the Science Citation Index [SCI] and 2 in the Ulakbim index), 3 in the Ulakbim Tr-Dizin, and 2 in other internationally indexed journals. In addition, he has presented 34 oral presentations at international symposia. He has been involved in 21 research projects in various roles, including as a principal investigator and research instructor. Prof. Dr. Ali Osman Ayaş’s work has received over 450 citations internationally. Prof. Dr. Ali Osman Ayaş, who speaks English, is married and the father of two children.
