He was born in 1971 in Adıyaman/Kahta. He completed his primary and secondary education in the district where he was born. He graduated from Mersin Hotel Management and Tourism Vocational High School in 1989. In 1993, he completed Ankara Gazi University, Faculty of Commerce and Tourism Education, Tourism Management and Hotel Management Education. Between 1994-1999, Giresun/Görele Commerce High School, He worked as a Tourism lessons teacher at Adıyaman/Central Commercial High School.

In 1999, he started to work as a lecturer at İnönü University, Adıyaman Vocational School. Between 2005-2019, he worked as the Deputy Director of Adıyaman University Vocational School, and between 2011-2017 he worked as the Manager of Adıyaman University, Tourism Application Hotel.

He is married and has 3 children. He is still working in Vocational School of Social Sciences, Hotel Restaurant and Catering Services Department, Tourism and Hotel Management Program.
