Yaşar İnceyol received his undergraduate degree from Selçuk University, Department of Geomatic Engineering in 1988, his master's degree from Selçuk University, Institute of Science, Department of Geomatic Engineering in 2000, and his Ph.D. from Selçuk University, Institute of Science, Department of Geomatic Engineering in 2014. The title of the master thesis was "Coordination and planning problems in land consolidation studies in Southeastern Anatolia Projects (GAP)" and the advisor of the thesis was Prof. Dr. Tayfun Çay. The title of his doctoral dissertation was "The application of genetic algorithms in land landscaping studies" and the advisor of the thesis was Prof. Dr. Tayfun Çay. He worked as a Geomatic Engineer in the private sector between 1988-1990. He worked as a geomatic engineer in the DSI XV. region between 1990-1993. In 1993, he worked as a lecturer in the Geomatic and Cadastre Program at Harran University Şanlıurfa Vocational School. He also worked as a lecturer at the department of city and planning, geomatic, and cadastre program in Adıyaman University Kâhta Vocational School. In 2015, he was assigned as Asst. Assoc. Dr. in the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Geomatic Engineering, at Adiyaman University. Currently, he is working as a faculty member in the same department. In his academic studies, his interests have been generally on Land Consolidation, Block Distribution in Land Consolidation, Optimization in Block distribution, Zoning plan applications, Cadastre, Highway design, and Land Consolidation irrigation relations.
