She was born in 1971 in Gaziantep. After completing his primary, secondary and high school education in Gaziantep, she graduated from Ege University Engineering Faculty Textile Engineering Department in 1992. She worked as a Yarn Quality Control Engineer and Knitting Department Chief in their enterprises between 1992-1999 in SANKO TEKSTİL İŞLETELERİ SAN. and TİC. A.S. 

In 1999, she started to work as a lecturer in Gaziantep University Gaziantep Vocational High School Textile Department. She completed her master's degree at Gaziantep University Faculty of Engineering, Textile Engineering Department between 2005-2008, and her doctorate education at Çukurova University Engineering Faculty Textile Engineering Department between 2012-2017.

As of January 2020, she has been working as an associate professor at Adıyaman University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Textile Engineering.

Research and study topics; circular knitting technologies, vortex spinning, recycle yarns, knitted-woven fabric performance and designs, carpet technology, yarn technologies, towel technology, weaving technologies, baby diapers, backsheet, textile industry, etc.

She is married with two children.

At the same time, she serves her profession and colleagues as the Head of the Southern Regional Branch of the Chamber of Textile Engineers.
